Greetings Ladies and Gents,
I was curious if anyone knew what effect David Gilmour is using on the Animals track "Pigs(Three Different Ones)", specifically the solo. There's a part where it almost sounds like a Heil Talkbox (around the 5 minute mark), but a bit synthetic for that. Is there any Kemper effect that can give that sort of effect?
Thanks,
Jen

It is a Heil Talkbox.
Not "Pigs" but same talkbox.

The Vowel Wah can be used like a talk box. It can be pedal controlled, or touch controlled. You cannot form words with it, though. For that, you need a Talkbox, like the Rocktron Banshee.

... and of course there's Paul's talk box which is included in the wah-preset collection linked to in my sig, Jen. It's called, strangely-enough, "Talk Box - Paul".
He's too modest to have mentioned it, of course.
