NEW "Loop Distortion"- type tailored for running a single analog drive pedal with integrated SEND Level and Return Studio EQ using only one slot

  • I find that the Kemper drives are not that great and feel that an analog drive pedal is great to have in the effects loop. Since there is only one loop, and an analog pedal has static settings I use 2 slots as follows:

    - one for the loop itself with Mix Pre
    - one studio EQ to alter the characteristic of that single drive pedal to suit a certain RIG

    Suggestion:
Have one new "Loop Drive" - type to have all these two in one:
    - the loop
    - studio EQ

This way you could do wonders just having one analog drive of your choice in the loop, retaining Kemper in control of the drive level and the wanted characteristic of the distortion.

    What do you think?

EDIT: Noise Gate could be there too...

  • I know, the internal overdrives and distortionpedals sucks. But this is not true only for kemper. No one has yet made pedals that can compete with real analog pedals.Don't know why it's so difficult to do it? Since the loop is way too noisy that the gates can't fix I dont use my overdrive pedals in the loop.
