David says he used one of the Dumble Profiles on the KPA, perhaps Tony McKenzies HRM, and a standard Deluxe Reverb on the KPA...tweaked them to the tones you hear....he hasn't Profiled his own amps yet.
Do you mean he recorded 2 profiles

Let me simplify, he recorded with his Kemper.
Here's another one.
It's like an alien trying to communicate with us humans via music, really amazing originality and mindf***ing tones.

Yes but you gave me 3 different amps.... so did he only use one or double track with another
Thanks,, I still don't know what kind of tweaking or stomps if any were added.. eq, cab adjustments...
"It's OK to listen to the gray voice" . . . . . . . was an album he played on years ago when I first heard of him. I'm going to have to pull that one out again. David Torn is a very inspiring player to listen to and it's great to see that he's also using the Kemper. I agree, great sound!
Impressive!!
Bump.....
Wow!!
Love it.. that beginning sounds amazing.. those tones are just dying to jump out of the speakers...
any hints on this profile....:)
Very nice indeed!
Another amazing piece of music.
The selmer zodiac profile.
Other gear used.

Bump for guys who haven't had a chance to listen to the genius of David Torn.

Bump for new members.
If Hendrix was still alive and using a Kemper I think we'd be hearing something like this.

I hadn't heard bloobu yet. That was incredible. He's clearly got some other stuff happening other than the Kemper, Whammy and some type of infinite hold delay. Very, very cool. Inspirational even...
I was watching the movie "Friday Night Lights" the other night, great movie.
As soon as I heard the music on this part of the movie I knew it could only be David Torn, and of course it is....take a listen...starting at 1:00
