Erik Stam's Legacy CL414 Profile...it's excellent!
You can even add a bit of gain to it without break up and it's even warmer
-
Thanks...I'll give it a try.
To this point, Steph L.'s Mesa Mark V Clean+ is my favorite clean tone. Absolutely lush sounding!
-
There is a vintage bassman around that is also very good
-
Yup, this is one of my favourite cleans.
Also try my Cornell Romany Plus profile with a low output neck pickup. I think it is on the exchange. -
Here's my candidate for a clean rig. It's a very slighly modified version of Andy's AC30.
-
This Legacy clean profile has been my favorite "clean" profile to date.....
Interesting that it is now finally getting the respect it deserves
-
Try my "Champ II Clean" by BDTN on the Rig Exchange. Its rather unique compared to some of the other typical clean rigs if you like a percussive attack with some sparkle. I was shocked at how well it turned out.

For something a bit different try the HiWatt 1972 by Rob Shanahan. It good for bass too.. Neil

Great tones. The Legacy is also my favorite. There is a clean Dr. Z that i like a lot, too.
Also, with hundreds of profiles around, it is cool to be pointed to great tones one might have overlooked.
