Should we compensate or not the volume between the "normal" sound and the same rig with the "double tracker" effect?

why not ideal?
Audience members would have to be in the center of the stereo field to enjoy a stereo effect. It would be somewhat okay to use for a very tiny venue/audience with a PA/Amps spread wide. Mono keeps the signal more even and consistent for the audience no matter their position in the crowd with less forgiving PA/Amps placement.
I've been trying the Double Tracker live on tour and it has been really good. You need to make sure the house system is full stereo of course.
Our engineer likes it, as the centre is free for vocals as well.

I use the double tracker live, too.
There's just one problem because of the different volume levels of channel left and right.
