what does this mean, so you don't do any mixing of the kemper signal at all? just all micing ?
I'm using electric guitar with my middle single pickup and the Kemper Acoustic Simulator and a EQ in the stomp. The stack is turned OFF. My DAW is getting 3 inputs; from the guitar mono output, from the DI, and a mic to pick up string noise on the electric. I blend all three in DAW to get the best acoustic sound.
Instead of doing a stereo track, I am doing a wet/dry track which sounds much more luscious to me.

Sounds like the angry Talking Heads genre.

It should not make a difference whether you have the files on mac or windows. The file extension works on both.
"rig_name.kipr".
What file type are you trying to open? A compressed file?

Past, present, and future. I use and recommend the free stuff. The Guidorist Liquid Profile Pack is great. Rigbuster Liquid Profile pack has a few good ones also.

Welcome to the Party!
The Kabinet allows you to use the speaker imprints so it depends on how true of a sound you want.

Fear is kind of different for me. I'm not sure the genre?

This same thing happened to me once before. I did a "init globals" on the system settings to get back to default settings, and then turned the Power Amp on and everything was working again. I never found out what I did to cause the power amp not to make sound.

Thanks!

Yes for Solid State amps.
If you have a headphone jack on the amp that mutes the cab then just plug in an old headphone jack to mute the cab during profiling. That way you don't have to disconnect anything.

Everyone’s favourite Texan (other than you Larry) Billy Gibbons even has a 31 band GEQ in front his amp to make all his guitars sound like each other. That’s taking one tone to the max.
I have an MXR 10 band and fumble all over it.

There is a simple rule here in Texas. You pick no more than 3 tones; clean, crunch, high-gain/solo. You play those all night to your heart's delight. I have never been to a small gig or mega concert where I heard more than 3 tones. The more famous had only 1 tone/amp the whole show.

The entire forum is dedicated to anything Kemper. There is even sections for "other gear" chat and your favorite music.

Pretty acoustic tone. What did you use?
-
i did not. i didn't know about it. not sure what that even is. i have the TC flashback 2 as i said and the crystal is not even close to as cool as the kempers and it doesn't fade out either, it just turns off which sounds terrible.
Now you know.

You can do the blending easy with a morph on the Amp's Direct Mix parameter. You could even morph the Amp's gain and the direct mix at the same time to go from sparkly clean to full out distortion. SImply apply the morph of Direct Mix and Gain in opposite directions. Of course, you will need an EXP pedal to do it.

You just need to reverse the intro and outro, IMO. A build-up instead of a build-down would work best unless you tie in to a music video on a solemn ending. Hope that makes sense. Still good though.

Just turn your monitors up or Kabinet and walk over to it and play high gain. All the feedback you want, or don't want.
