Dead Kemper, no button combo or anything seems to be bringing it back...

I followed some instructions as I was trying to delete all the profiles so I could just load the ones I wanted....went into maintenance mode, flashed the memory and then it froze...after about 5-10mins of waiting I pulled the power from the back (probably not the best idea looking back know) and now it literally doesn't do anything when I turn the knob....any ideas guys.

I did try some of Armin's troubleshooting stuff from his website but like I said nothing happens when I turn the knob or anything I miss my Kemper and its only been 15 minutes lol

Man that sucks. Did you try holding down the left and right page arrows at the same time and then turn it on? When mine seemed dead I did that but I had a different error than you did so not sure that would work.

Once you have it back -

You can easily delete most/all the rigs in the newest software version:

In "System", there is a Rig Management Page that includes a "Delete All Non-Favorite Rigs" function.

Thanks for the replies guys, all it took was a little more patience on my end. I let it sit unplugged for about 30 mins and then it fired back up and went through the initial start up again so all is well

Great tip paults, I really need to start reading the updates when the new firmwares come out.

For the record: flashing the unit is almost never necessary... Do you format your harddrive in case you want to delete sth.?

If you use windows you'd better format your harddrive every 9-12 months....
