Did you render Not what you need less hot than the previous ones? Sounded very crisp on low and high ends on my side.

so Liquid Profiling means Modelling?
My understanding is instead of getting a snapshot of an amp with it's default settings, you will get the full profile amp and can move parameters from 0.0 - 10.0 and remain accurate.
Currently, if you moved any of the stack parameters of a profile (which is only a snapshot) then it would no longer be an accurate profile. Liquid will allow you to move the stack parameters any way you want and it should match the original amp (a full movie). Kind of gets me wet thinking about it. When I first bought the Kemper, I thought that's what it did. We are going to love this!

Nice doubling guitars, but I haven't watch B5 yet today. Have to wait until later with wife. She has really gotten into the series. I'm in love again.

What a voice! R.I.P.

The first amp to get Liquid Profiling must be the Plexi, Then the Fender Deluxe. The others can wait.

The awful truth of this is a see a lot of people playing music on their cellphones now. It's got me wondering how far should I bother to go for better headphones to mix with.
I'm currently using Marantz MPH-4. Closed back over ear. They are a bit heavy on the low end but are closely matched to my regular playback speakers. I like the Senn HD280 for the next pair.

Try -12db to -18db. This is the same as you would set for outputs in the studio to DAW. Some people like it a little hotter than that. But clipping means you are too hot.

Sunburn dirty guitar sounds like Michael Allsup influence.

Sounds like the Vorlons and Shadows going beyond the rim with the First One.

Yes, each restart activates Direct Monitoring intentionally. Otherwise this could be a big trap since DIrect Monitoring in off-state interrupts your guitar signal. Imagine you get to a gig and don't hear your guitar.
I would think most would be in Performance mode for gigs. So, can the ON/OFF soft button be programed to the Direct Monitor in Browser mode?

9.0.2 ftw
I just installed that one after setting the Direct Monitor to OFF. After the install, it put it on again.
Hopefully, the next restart will be FTW!
-
I like to monitor thru my DAW, and I uncheck the Direct Monitor option on Page 7 of 10 in Output menu. However, after every restart, that option goes back to being checked and I have to uncheck it again.
It this behavior intended?
Do we need to make a request that it remains in it's last state?

How does that voice not change?

Nice Narn ballad, Joe!
BTW, you could have resolved the ending by just hitting the key chord and let it sustain to fade.

OK.. so for Reaper there is no need for ASIO then, or is it ?
It does not appear ASIO is needed. I can lower the sample rate to 144 with WASAPI, and about a 3.2ms latency which is only about standing 4 feet away from a cabinet. ASIO4All only allows me to do 160 samples which comes out to 3.6ms. I do not like to do Direct Monitoring.
Just note I've only used the WASAPI config for a few hours with a guitar and drum track and a few plugins but it seems to be good enough.

That is a really good song ! but the low end starts distorting at 12 secs. It clears up at 55 secs and distorts again when your vocals come in at 1:12.
The best way I can explain it is when you sing 'I'm not feeling life" your vocal low end is adding to the bass and maybe the kick and those three are competing to much for the same space. I wish you would do another render because the song is really worth it.
And I have no idea if you intended it this way. Plus I am wondering if others are hearing what I hear.

For me, saving an amp preset and just right-clicking to load it in place seems to be much easier.

by the way: does WASAPI work for you?
Preferences/Device/Audio Device Settings/Audio device settings:
Audio System: WASAPI
Mode: Exclusive mode
Input device: <profiler>
Output device: <profiler>
Input channels: 4
Output channels: 4
Block size: 256 samples (<---- maybe increase this if there are crackles in the audio)
Preferred depth: 24 bit
Samplerate: 44100 Hz
this should result in fine audio I/O, without the need to revert to ASIO/asio4all
Yes. I can go down to 144 samples before artifacts start popping in.

Yes. Just treat the cabled ins and outs as the USB ins and outs, which are called Profiler 1 and Profiler 2.
Set the Rec. Source to DI/Master Left or Di/Master Mono. Page 7 of 10 in Output menu. Your DI will be recorded on the Profiler 1 in and your full signal will be recorded on Profiler 2 in. Create 2 tracks in DAW and label those accordingly. Make sure both tracks are "armed" when you make your first initial recording. You may mute the slider for playback of the DI track when recording.
The USB outs are also labeled Profiler 1 and Profiler 2.
