Looks like that may have worked...so far so good...thanks guys!
Can you open a support ticket about it, together with the backup you did? That would be very kind, so we can try to look at it, if you think that it is a bug.

I would like to clean my KPA from useles rigs. Idon't know how the "erease eveything exept MyRigs and Favorites" works regarding prfomances. I expect everythuing is delete after that.
The performances are unaffected by this function. Performances stay there since they are fixed memory slots.
Timo
Controllers cc50 to cc54 expect the value 1. Other values are reserved.
In fact, currently only the reception of the controller is checked, the value is ignored. You can not set a slot ON/OFF by CCs.
Timo
I have 730 profiles on my Kemper and when I add new ones they don't load, everything freezes and I have to turn off and turn back on. All of my 730 profiles load perfectly.
You are running into a bug that has been fixed in 1.6.0. Newer rigs (created with newer firmware versions)= do contain additional parameters and the bug is being triggered by this.
You should update to 1.8.2
Timo
Example: You like 1 specific amp for all of your music but you own and use (up to) 5 guitars.
You don't need performance mode for this. You might have noticed that the INPUT section is locked by default.
This is to keep your guitar specific settings equal over all selected rigs.
You can "load" different guitar settings with input presets.
If you unlock the INPUT section, you can store each rig with different guitar settings.
Timo
This is a guess on my part and may be a Bug.
It is a bug indeed and has already been fixed for the next public beta or release.
Timo
slot 1 doesn't give me the option to enable. I'll look into it more. Thanks
Slot 1 can not be disabled. Slot 1 is always enabled so a performance is never empty. Do 'delete' just select a different rig into the slot.
Timo
then it will no longer respond to midi changes, then eventually the audio will go choppy then an error will appear: DSP RX runtime error.
Can you take a photo of it and send it together with a backup to support?
Timo
Please try this:
Does it help?
Timo
Display Moresince i updated to firmware 1.8.0 public beta (the release an the 2.0 also) i have problems with the handling:
if i use a button or knob to switch / select / browse something, often it take up to 5 second until the kpa reacted.
with all the previous versions it wasn´t so.
( two times in the last weeks an error with the "system-clock" or so was displayed - i ignored it and nothing else is happend)
any information or help
Please make a backup and contact support, attach the backup.
Timo
Dear Martin ,
You want to play a game with me?
Ok, no problem. None of them is number 5, because you guys start counting from 0. So they would be number 6 with number 5 in the file name.
No one plays games with you. I wanted to point out the "unsolvable" problem, at least for a machine. If the filename is distinct, the position is clear.
In Browsemode that problem doesn't exist, there can be multiple files and there is no fix number to match. This is different in performance mode.
Timo
Don't get me wrong, don't want to sound nasty, but this is really easy to do, no?
which one is number 5?
Timo
performancename-number.kipf
Actually, I don't think that is an improvement (machine wise). Think of this:
superperformer-5.kipf
distortedwuzz-5.kipf
now what? The number only is distinct.
Timo
1) open the "export current rig / export current rigS within this performance" directly on USB
2) in the backup file found a better name convention like the one suggested by lightbox
3) develop a very simple tool for the PC that extract the single Rigs from the performance
1) in which situation would you consider this useful?
2) the number allows to simplify management in the machine.
3) [RIG]->[STORE TO POOL]
Timo
Does anybody know how to backup the performance mode settings?
I have already took a backup, but in the 'Performances'-Folder hasn't any entries.
Thanks.
You haven't stored any performances then. The "default performance" has an init Rig in slot 1, slots 2-5 are switched off. As soon as you do store performances and create a backup, the performances are stored in the performances folder.

TWO WAY MIDI was on 1.8... but it hanged my kemper lot of times... it means that this is fixed? Why if it's fixed does not appear on the manual or changelog??? I'm a little pissed off with Kemper because they didn't help me with the editor, just short answers like, "it's in the manual", "it's not working, on 2.0 will be fixed",
Because the "hang" was already fixed in 1.8.2, it didn't appear in the changelog for 2.0. It was backported to the 1.8.2 release which wasn't clear at the time you've got your answer.
Everything you actually need is in the document, check the latest revision. There is nothing more, yet.
The additional functions you're seeing with the LF+ and the UnO for Kemper are things that have been still in development in the last days, and still are undergoing changes.
Timo
Does that mean, we have up to 1,000 rigs in Browse Mode PLUS up to 625 rigs in Perform Mode?
yes.
