Since downloading these profiles, I've kept a couple but they haven't made it onto my mainstays or go-to's. I tend to like brighter, more cutting high gain tones.
But my band recorded their tracks before I joined and as I used the profiles I liked best on their own when recording, I was very unhappy with how things sounded. For one of the songs yesterday I finally set up the KPA for reamping to try out different profiles. After hours of going through different ones that sounded great in some areas, not as great in others, my other guitarist and I settled on one of the profiles you shared on this thread. Even though it was a bit darker, it just fit the mix like a glove and for the first time using the KPA in a recording context, I'm pretty happy with it.
So really, can't thank you enough for sharing these great profiles. I'm glad I kept a couple of these kicking around (I've gotten rid of thousands of profiles, both free and commercial, and kept only 125 at this point) because I'd still probably be pulling out the hair I no longer have.
Thank you very much.
Nice to hear -

Great ones!
Thank you very much -
Great profiles....some really good ones here! I think they are some of the best I've heard so far. I'd also be interested in some profiles with the settings as demonstrated by John Petrucci in the Mesa Boogie video about the jp2c on YouTube.
Thank you
I also like those settings and I should try to make some profiles of them soon -
Thank you
Yes, I am planning to do more profiles with settings from examples in the manual.
Probably less gain on some of them.
I put them on Rig Exchange when I am done// Björn
Hi,
Just uploaded a test profile to rig exchange with less gain.
Name = BG JP2C Ch-2 ST P6M-1TChannel 2 from Page 6 in the Manual
Cab miced with a combo of 2 x SM57 + VMS ONE emulating FG-67.
Check if you like this one better// Björn

Thank you for the profiles @net99. Would it be possibe to get profiles with a little less gain? Somewhere around 6 to 7 on Kemper scale.
Thank you
Yes, I am planning to do more profiles with settings from examples in the manual.
Probably less gain on some of them.

It would be great !!
Hi again,
Here are some profiles without EQ on microphones.
I made four different profiles, one di and three studio with 2xSM57 Fredman, 1xSM57 On Axis, (from Fredman)
and 1xSM57 Off Axis, (from Fredman), so you can compareThis time I don´t put them on RigExchange at this moment, only a zip file in download link below.
If you think some of them are good just let me know which one you like so I can share on RigExchangeLink:

Oh great,
I would be very curious to get something without external eq, a raw profileI still have the two sm57 unmoved from the speaker so I can make a raw profile from them if you like
-
Hey Bjorn, I guess your profiles have been post eq'Ed in your mixer, right ?
Hi Gerald,
I eq'ed signal from microphones before I send the signal back to Kemper in the profiling process.
Don´t remember exactly but low cut round 80-100 Hz and Hi cut round 7-12 kHz and some cut round 2-3 K with high Q-value, (listen for unpleasant freq I cut away in that area).
