Would like to try a Marshall rig to get a feeling for your rigs. Don´t want to buy blind.

Any samples, or demo rig?

Have to thank Simone for his rigs, I just modded a lil bit. Seems you´re having fun with your hobby!

BTW: 2.6 sounds better!

Also looked for that rig I used for that older video, but I did not store. I just took some Marshall rig (sorry, but I do not remember which one I was using, but that was not important to me as that can be made with most good sounding Marshall rigs) turned some knobs, and then did the video.
As I been asked pretty often about selling AC/DC style rigs: Most of the rigs I´m using are bought rigs, from Andy, Carsten Liftin, and Top Jimi ones. Simones free rigs (rig exchange) have a special natural charakter to me, it´s like playing the real amps just at a standard rock´n´roll setting. I can not take bought rigs or even free rigs from other guys, modify them to my taste, and sell them, that´s not possible. And I also do not want to make own profiles, I´m too busy with other work.
The Ain´t no fun rig is Angus sound (not 100% sure), Malcolms sound is a bit different, and also needs some different amp settings as he´s using his Gretsch guitars and pickups.

For free: Get Simones Marshall Rigs they are really nice, and all free. Here´s one of his rigs, with some modification, played with my Tokai SG, Wild Honey pickups (really close to end 60s Gibson pickups) this time just an audio clip:
And here´s Simone (s) modified rig for that:
Also done with Simone rigs, will be a backing for another video!
Rock´n´Roll!
And don´t forget about the fingers!

You can use in in both directions, but not simultaneously as far as I know. But is there any need for the other direction? I want to go from Kemper to Mac, not more. Or is it about reamping?

Been the same thing on my side, I knew something about digital input ........... but completely forgot.
-
Just wanted to share that way for those, who did not know that way already, as I been tired of all those click and noise problems with interfaces.
-
Only optical cables possible, (new to me) so yes, disvovery!
-
SPDIF is a perfect way getting the Toaster to software, but too often there is problems with interfaces, clicks, noises, … ! When using newer Mac models the input of these models also offer optical digital input. So here´s the easy way using this way:
Get a digital rca cable (cinch) from Toaster SPDIF output, and a Lindy audio converter. http://goo.gl/kQcMV7 From Lindy to Mac use a toslink cable with a mini plug (or adapter) on Mac side. Plug that mini plug into Mac input!
That´s it!
Using Logic you can now use lowest latency mode (32, 4,8ms) with no clicks, or any noises, and even software monitoring with that mode works "like a charme"!
Finally I can use SPDIF now without any problems, may be this info can help some of you, because no expensive interface needs to be used, and even with an expensive interface there still might be problems!
Cheers!

Sounds awesome! Great variety.
What did you change/tweak?
I think almost everything more or less. Can´t name it. These Evil Robot rigs always sound good to me, and it´s fun tweaking them.
-
One of Andys Evil Robot profiles, heavily tweaked, all time fav rigs! Go to 2:11 if it does not go there by default!

Hey Timo, thanks for that info. Having the right infos is always a better way of understanding descisions like the 10.7 here! Thanks!
-
I can´t rate how much effort would be needed to offer 10.6.8 support, would be nice if it would work. I can understand if it´s going only to 10.7!
-
I´m on 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, and I guess I´m not the only one!
-
What Mac OS will be needed for the Mac Rig Manager, any infos?

Got an MC-200 too, really like it. Needed some "help" to work properly, first tightening bottom part of mic to get shielding/ground work as it should, second give the mic an hour of sunbaking (just put it on the window board in the sun) , to get moisture out of capsule. Now that sounds really good, like it better than my AKG C3000. Hope that might help if needed!
