Ran and Maynoes - great instruments from Poland
Too bad it's never been possible to buy any of them here in Sweden. I really would like to try any of them.

65 year old and he still play better than most 25 year old guitarists. Including me. Not that I'm 25 anymore. Well not physically but in my mind.

I belived I was the only one who liked Divine Intervention. I still consider it to be Slayers best record. The one that came after...forgot it now, was a big dissapointment for me.

Agree turn down the dist sense. With many high gain profiles I need to turn down dist sense all the way. In recording situation I use multiband compression to get rid of too much bass when chugging on the low E and of course hp-filter and lp-filter if it's needed. I don't find that all or nearly all high gain profiles have way too much bass. If you want profiles that have less bass buy Tills Chimera that offers three different per profile from more bass, less and even less bass on that pack.

Been a Cubase user for a long time. But if it had been today I probably would end up with something else.

Surely the lovely chaps at Choptones can chuck some discount codes in during this time?
MBitt is offering 40% off during the lockdown and everyone is raving over his new 2020 pack.
They had 25% recently in case you missed it.

Hi! Thank you all for the answers.
Today I ran some tests: I tried to play with 3 different guitars with 3 different pickups, humbuckers and splits.
You actually inspired me to test my sound chain, so I plugged my headphones directly in the headphones output of the KPA, and guess what? All 3 guitars made cracks even when I was listening directly through headphone output of the KPA.
To be sure I wasn't crazy, I launched Logic Pro and recorded the 3 guitars, and in every recording, I could hear these little crack...
I also tried to played with different profiles. Cracks again.
So what can we conclude from that? Are these cracks normal? Would I get them also if I played through a real amp? Does my profiler have an issue?
PS: I have tried to use another cable. It didn't fix the problem.
Does the master button turn red when you play?

Based on amp X is what I see on all profilers sites where I have purchased. If nothing, that's bad, but you can always mail and ask them. But to me it doesn't really matter that much. It's more important if I like the profiles or not. Yes I have seen some smaller profilers where there's no information on what amp(s)been used, no demo sound nor any free profiles. Honestly who do they believe will buy anything then?
-
I don't know if copyright prohibits the naming of a specific amp, but half the time I honestly have no idea what half the amps are in different profile packs.
Maybe it's just me but it would be so much easier if it just said what amp was being profiled in as concise a way as is possible
