It sounds like the cabs, not the KPA are keeping you from the best tones. Maybe a small tube amp is better for this gig if this means less gear to have to bring. Can you just output direct to FOH and not have to use the extra cab?

Yes - i used the first time a monitor that is very old and hardwired. I connected after that to powered Alto and was able to get monitor out signal. So I think the problem was with the other monitor.

Thanks rreda - we were both using TAF profiles when this was filmed. I was using a JTM 45 profile (I believe it was termed "Pushed") and our Malcolm was using a Plexi (I believe it was Clean+) profile from Andy.
Recording was made with a mic positioned at the board - FOH sound is what you are hearing.
Is the TAF JTM 45 single profile? Or from Marshall toolkit?

Have you reported this to Kemper? I don't remember anyone else reporting this as a problem.
No the problem is no more after I downgrade to 2.6 and then install 2.7.
-
No delays here with FW 2.7 and midi. The only thing was midi program assignments erased after upgrade. I dont know why this happen but I added them back in no problems.
I would try downgrade to firmware version you had before 2.7/ -
not sure about clicking between rigs but...sometimes when i tap tempo with midi pedal then the signal is chop - for split second only happens when tapping on switch for tap tempo.

Do you have volume > wah, wah> pitch activated? Are you switching from a rig which has one of these effects engaged to one where it is not? In such a situation, you have to move your pedal to toe position to re-engage the volume control. This feature was included so that there was not a sudden loss of volume when switching profiles.
Yes - had wah>pitch. I turn this off and problem solved. Thank you!

Hi, I have this issue after install 2.6 FW. I have expression pedal setup to function as volume pedal. After I switch between rigs it takes several seconds before the volume pedal can control the volume of the rig. In the heel position the display shows tuner. I did not have this lag before 2.6 But maybe there is a setting i change by accident? any ideas?

do you make your profiles with the new FW - now 2.6?

Although I don't class spring reverb as a special effect ...
yes - i agree spring we also need. I mean for special effect things like vinyl stop and you dont use this much for live play. -
please before reverse delay or spring reverb. or other special effect. it must have tap to work with delay after amp.
-
All good stuff much appreciated but....when oh when are we going to get delay in a stomp slot and a spring reverb ...?? Come on it can't be that difficult surely ...and for me it's the one thing missing from the 'vintage' style tones..Modern stuff is well covered ...Bass is done ....now come on let's have the delay feature that's in the manual :-/ ...Please ??
Yes this. Maybe spring is more difficult but delay in stomp need now.

i am ok if Kemper not add looper effect. Instead i can use separate loop station pedal. Connect loop station to effect loop in profiler. And place effects loop anywhere in signal chain so this only plays back original recorded track. And this does not take on delaly, reverb and other character of the profile rig you have set to. So instead of adding looper just make profiler able to put effects loop anywhere in signal chain.

This. especially #2 - delay before stack. The special effect are nice but men need more practical effect for live play.

This is great and also the Tyler has a great tone

DJ: many men rejoice with you.

I am still confuse. Does this mean cabs for rigs we already have sound more real with this update? Or we can make them sound more better now if we modify with the new paramater for cabs?
-
DJ - this is some of the best metal profiles. Is this amp capable of cleans? or only brutality

Very nice! Also tell us more about the guitar and pickups!
