I think this is a great idea.

Excellent!
I just bought an Ibanez M80M and though I would do a little sound test with some of the profiles I have uploaded.

Let me know what you think!
Also, if you happen to like or dislikes the profiles a vote would be great so I can delete the ones not needed.

Clips of firmware 16 vs Kemper?

Yes, thank you. I have one on order and will report back.

Pete's new Slayer VH4 sounds sick for leads.

Loaded the newer profiles today. Sound really good. Thanks!

Z2M is a great profile! Thanks for posting!

Thanks much!
And for you Dave?
-
Really appreciate the comments and you are welcome!
For my curiosity and future reference which of the profiles are you finding works the best for you?

Make sure to do a back up before system reset. You can load the back up after and all will be well!

Upon trying to import the file from the rig exchange my Kemper said I had reached my maximum amount of rigs...I only have 120!
I did a system reset and it imported fine. Strange.
The profile sounds great! Thanks for posting.

I'll check the exchange version. Thanks.

Tried to load this but the Kemper would not recognize it. Possibly corrupt?

Downloaded for testing tonight!

Thanks for the kind comment Dave!
The profiles posted were culled from hundreds done, while I like them there will be better versions to come as I don't feel they are perfected. It is tough to get a profile that is super well balance and translates to a wide variety of situations. I am glad you can see this and actually that is my goal, through EQ I try to find the perfect spot (for me) where the sound is the best for all styles of my playing, I have spent countless hours adjusting EQ's to get to this point (way before the Kemper arrived.) It seems that most of the time one technique will sound best at one setting and the other at another, well, these techniques are all a part of my playing style so I need a sound that translates them all with equal presentation.

Whether what he did was on purpose, accident or even untrue I once again will say that I can not call it, but, I will say that I discovered recently that you can indeed accidentally change the creators name to that of the profiler owner's very easily. I now use this to view my most used rigs while sorting by "my rigs" even if I didn't author them. I thought of sharing this with others so they could sort like this as well(I have found it very useful) but thought better of it for this exact reason.

I was only stating a fact of operation about the Kemper for londonjeepster. I am unable to judge this but I did appreciate the Ferrari photo!

If he had Lasse's rig loaded in browser mode prior to profiling the effects would then be saved exactly as they were in Lasse's profile.

The Washburn HM series is super well built for budget. I have 2 HM 24's. They are fixed bridge brass and all mahogany body and neck which resonates like a dream. I prefer them over my USA Jackson.
