I'm using this:

I like it pretty well. The pocket could be a little bit deeper.
It seems sturdy enough for every-day basic gigs, but I wouldn't take it on tour or on a plane or anything.

This is awesome....can't wait to try these!
Thanks so much!

Ha! That bassist lived down the hall from me in college.
I would love a Kemper floor unit and if it had the right features I would buy one immediately. Then I could leave my KPA rack at home and just bring the profiles I need to the gig.
I could be happy with a stripped down version with just the basic effects, plus the Compressor and Definition controls in the Amp block. I love those.
Take my money!!!!
I agree that many questions which are answered in the manual can be tiring to hear over and over.
When I got my KPA I read the manual cover to cover....in bed, on my lunch break, after soundcheck etc. Then I just dived in and started messing with things in order to learn what they do.
I feel if more people did this many basic questions could be avoided. But then again, I don't expect anyone to live their lives the way I live mine.
With that being said, there are many times where the manuals are not very clear. I can't think of any examples right now, but I distinctly remember going to the manual a number of times and thinking, "this is not very helpful."
+1
This would be a nice option.
We have to remember that this iem mix wasn't everything that he was hearing. In the live situation you hear the iem mix + what ever is leaking through the ear buds: ie. the drums, bass amp, p.a. etc.
This is the truth. Even though the mix sounds unbalanced here, I'm sure he could hear the drums and bass leaking through. Looks like the bassist has a cab on stage.
This video reminds me of every Saturday/Sunday of my life from April-October lol.
Also, funny that the 3 tunes you chose all have basically the same chord progression!
Sounds good...keep it up.
EDIT: I missed the Journey song somehow....not the same progression. But still!
I wonder if all wedding bands end that tune with "Don't stop!" because we do it that way as well. Although I don't do that shreddy line at the end. I would if I could, but I'm just not that fast!
When you say presets, do you mean expansions like "Nashville", "Funk Masters" etc?
Or do you mean MIDI packs?
If you're looking for EQ/FX presets, I'm not aware of any of that stuff for EZD2
Have checked the noise gate? Maybe it is set too high
Someone needs to let it go...
I use SPDIF connection
The input light is on green, but can go a bit yellow when strumming hard, but the output is constant green except not playing haha
However, I do really need to have my Clean Sense down in the bottom at -12 otherwise it starts getting red, while the Distorted sense is at -4 only
those Clean and Distortion Sense settings don't seem right.
I know for certain that new units ship with Distortion Sense set to 0, and I'm reasonably certain that Clean Sense ships that way as well.
I would suggest resetting them, making sure gain staging is correct, and possibly recording in some other fashion than SPDIF for now, just to rule that out.
I've been using a Yamaha DXR10 and I'm reasonably satisfied with it, but I've been thinking of trying a guitar cab again.
Then again, I haven't been able to try Pure Cab yet because apparently there are issues when using MIDI controllers. Hopefully that will be sorted out soon.
Thanks so much!

-Subdecay Super Spring Theory
-Eventide Timefactor
- Strymon Möbius
I like the Kemper reverbs, delays, and mods and I use them, but it is missing some crucial sounds.
+1!!!!!!!
i think keeping it simple is the best idea:
-select stomp slot
-use Type knob to scroll the Dist, Mod, Pitch etc
I am avoiding the update until this is fixed.
I really want to try Pure Cab but I need to use my MIDI controller live and if it's not sounding good I'll have to wait
Make sure you are in the My Profiler folder.
Ah maybe that's why it didn't work.
Select a rig and edit its name on the right in the inspector screen.
this is what I tried before but maybe I wasn't in the my profile folde.
Hmm I've tried that but it didn't seem to work.
I'll give it another shot. I wonder what I did wrong?
