Nice job, Kaschko !

Rather than boost the bass, I'd try experimenting with the amp controls - especially Definition, Tube Shape and Tube Bias.

The sound isn't bad at all - not a million miles away. He has a fair amount more power amp gain in his sound. It has a loose bottom end which starts to come apart when he digs in. Also, you should explore the Kemper's spring reverb for that sound.

The Rhett Shull tweed video is not just a close mic sound. It either also includes room microphone sound, or added room reverb.
Just watching the video and this was the first thing that occurred to me, too.

Any thoughts?
Are you saying that the recordings are too dull, as if they have a blanket over them?
My thoughts were that the overdriven tones were a little bright, if anything. As sambrox said, they have are obviously too dry.I thought the clean tone sounded great, however!
When I first started to put together a set of profiles for playing live, I profiled my own amp, and found some other profiles which I thought sounded great when playing on my own. At the first full band rehearsal, I ditched the lot, including my own profiles, as they were hideously bright, at volume, in a band mix.
I found that the best-sounding profiles in a band context were ones which I thought sounded too dull when playing at low volume at home. -
Really looking forward to this, too. All relevant to me.

One thing to note: nothing else sounds like a Jazzmaster. They have a unique sound, due to the design of the tailpiece/bridge, and the pickups. They have very little sustain, but a very distinctive voice, especially on those plucked wound strings on the lower frets.
In my opinion, the sound he gets is way more about the guitar than it is about the amp. -
Thank you.

I have a Katana 100W head which I have occasionally used as a power amp by running the Kemper into the effects return.
It sounds great and is capable of being extremely loud. It doesn't sound boxy or thin, although that probably depends what speaker cab you use.FWIW, I chose the head version instead of the combo because I didn't like the speaker in the Katana.

To all Kabinet and Kone users:
Anyone going the fullrange route, instead of imprints?
Have you tested the "Sweetening" control at all?
Any impressions?
CK
I'm going the fullrange route with my Kabinet. Owned for around a week.
The "Sweetening" control is subtle, and seems to have an effect on the feel of the strings under your fingers as much as the sound, in the same way that adjusting the midrange control on a really good amp does.
I like it well up on higher gain sounds.

paults You beat me to it!

Have you checked your Output settings? Not sure whether you are using Main or Monitor outs, but make sure they are on the correct setting (e.g. Master Mono, or whatever you need).

This tutorial is enormously helpful. I know it's for Logic Pro X, but the principles apply to any DAW.

I would check out Tone Junkie profiles. They have that chimey, clean-but-not-clean thing going on in spades.
Also, I'd try adding Clean Boost in front of a breaking-up amp profile, to boost the gain with clarity, rather than Green Scream into a clean amp, which will just lose clarity. Or use Green Scream into a breaking up amp, with the gain off and the output volume right up.
Amp-wise, I'd try one of the Bogner Shiva profiles; it's a wonderful amp which really seems to lend itself to profiling well, and has a great, chimy-clean breakup sound.
Plus, of course, you need a good single coil neck pickup! That's a Strat p/u. Most Tele neck pickups probably won't get that sound.
