Wouldn't it be interesting if there was a new remote, that is loaded with FX ?
That would be staggeringly cool. A powered effects extension floorboard plugged into the remote.

That's amazing! You certainly nail both the sound and playing. He's one of my favourites and if I didn't watch you do it I'd think it was him.
Thanks for sharing the lesson as well. I'll have to digest that in chunks.
Welcome to the thing! Great to hear you're enjoying it!
That's great to hear! I love good news!
I don't like el84s for high gain AT ALL. Now I know there are a ton of caveats in this conversation I am sure in regards to your particular situation (not sure your living situation in regards to high volume, etc.). If I was in a metal band and needed some on stage oomph with some tubes; I would be trading for a big bottle Mark in a heartbeat.
Yeah this! The Shiva gain is thick and warm rather than tight and tough.
Definitely not a Shiva for metal or 90's rock. It's a great amp for almost anything else. My favourite amp.
I use a Bogner Uberschall pedal into the clean channel if I want a tighter, more modern gain sound.
Would there ever be a reason to put a gate in the post Effects section?
I'd try the Fender profiles again, but turned up to normal tube amp volumes.
There are also some really nice clean tones in Michael Britt's 3P pack.
Only 2 years - I'm 51.
So on topic, so you think that effect in the intro is a pedal or downstream in production?
I can appreciate their craft! Those are some talented dudes.
You'll be my age one day.
I'd start by putting a phaser in the Mod effect slot with little or no modulation and lots of depth.
That also enables it to run in stereo to create a more intense effect, but don't set the stereo so wide that it loses focus.
Sounds like outboard effects applied in the DAW to my ears rather than Pre. Just gut feel though.
It seems like the Pure Cabinet feature is a more sophisticated way to achieve what a high pass eq filter on the output does.
As a bonus it leaves the clean tones a bit more airy on top.
What say you folks? Do you use both or either to knock the miked speaker fizz off your gain profiles?
Cool tip, thanks. I find the pickup switch to be pretty easy, but on a single bridge pickup guitar this would be useful for me.
I haven't experienced this, but I think I remember this being discussed as a bug. Are you on the latest OS?
That kid is a phenomenal musician!
