Flanger setting for godsmack 'Keep away' intro?

Sounds like outboard effects applied in the DAW to my ears rather than Pre. Just gut feel though.

I'd start by putting a phaser in the Mod effect slot with little or no modulation and lots of depth.

That also enables it to run in stereo to create a more intense effect, but don't set the stereo so wide that it loses focus.

Finally is a big Godsmack fan! Don’t worry bro, they’re a little heavier than I like to go too!
But I love Suli’s voice and the drummer is absolutely killer!
