Is anyone else having trouble where there's no status bar on the right hand side of screen and can't scroll down in the window once in a folder? I have to use arrow down on a keyboard to be able to scroll on any screen now...didn't use to be this way. I'm on the latest official Rig Manager version.

Is this the best pack for MT15? I thought I saw someone else does one too but now I can't find it.

Availability of the KEMPER Kabinet and also The KEMPER Kone as a replacement speaker for any existing guitar cab is expected towards the end of Q1 2020.
We're aware of that statement but now they posted the pictures of them in the US warehouse ready to go...so

I’ve been playing my kpa only with headphones for a few months in anticipation of these.
Any updates on shipping dates? I’m getting antsy and don’t want to settle on buying a cab but I’m dying to play the kpa out loud!
-
Solo maybe but in a mix, less gain is better than more. If you listen or read to what producers/mixing engineers say about high gain guitars is that less gain than ppl like to believe was used. With bass it's usually the opposite. There are of course exceptions e.g. Pantera on Vulgar display of power.
Sure if you’re recording and tracking 4 guitars I get it. I am just playing by myself at home.

So I’ve been playing with this set a bit. I find that I like to raise the gain on most of the profiles a bit to get that saturation. I’m using fluence modern pickups and feel like for a heavy tones pack I think they sound bit better with more gain?

I fixed it, looks like it was an issue with the extract.

I just bought and downloaded this pack but every time I try to load the files into Rig Manager it closes and fails...anyone else have this issue?
-
Yes go to the output settings, it’s one of the pages in there to change or unlink the individual outputs.
-
Thanks for these! Do they include a cab simulation already or do I need to add a cab to play through FRFR?
-
Can anyone share these?
-
No, the opposite. You want as much signal from the KPA as you can get without overloading the speaker input, in order to keep the noise level down.
Gotcha. I’m using xlr main out so turn the kemper to day maybe -10 to -15 dB and use volume control on the frfr to adjust level.
-
So it sounds like crank the volume on the speaker and use the kpa to adjust volume?
-
This question was not answered yet. And so, because I also face it, I repeat it here. So, how do you guys set the Output level for a FRFR monitor? And how to set the volume at the FRFR (Headrush-112, i.e.)? Are there any rules or just recommendations? Is it a matter of the stage and room where you are playing?
Yeah the source of my question was is it better to push the output from KPA higher with lower speaker level or to push the speaker volume higher with lower output level on KPA.

Any chance the virus issues in China are delaying our shipments of Kabinets?
-
Just ordered a set for the USA. Thank you!

I’m probably going to buy these today. Are these still one of the recommended metal paid packs to get? I just want to plug in and play with little tweaking.

Yep, I've noticed this too. No input at all there's a hiss. Clearly when there's tone being run through it it's a non issue, and I imagine in a rehearsal atmosphere or especially in a gig it will be completely unnoticeable.
Yeah I noticed that a noise gate to tame any amps is obviously helpful but the Headrush doesn't get completely silent. Again is a $300 speaker so not the best out there, but then again it's just a stop-gap for me to be able to keep playing until the Kabinet comes out.

Just checking
I think the TS cable from MONITOR OUT or the XLR from MAIN OUT (mono) basically sounds the same. The TRS balanced cable I tried seemed to add noise/hiss to the equation.
The FRFR112 even without any input playing has a certain level of speaker hiss/noise like a PA system would without any sound coming out...a little unlike a guitar cab that you could have quiet.

Kones will be available to order in May...
Are the Kabinets still slated to be available before end of March?
