Running my main out from the kemper with XLR to channel on Presonus Firestudio, into computer and to Monitors.... I can usually play for 5-7 minutes then I can still play, but there is this horrible static, but only when I play, if I just stop playing it stops too, but starts right back up as soon as I play.
Any ideas why, or what could fix this?
Yes, it may be related to a nasty noise, when switching patches via midi, like I experienced. Support needs to be aware of this, as they are coming out soon with another firmware update to fix the noise I was getting. I had forgot to tell them that I would randomly get the noise while playing without changing patches. Please report it to support, they are very quick to respond.
I had to send my KPA back to change the soundboard because I had a problem like the one you describe.
Wow! I hope the firmware update solves mine, as I would hate to have the soundboard replaced. I haven't used mine that much and I hope it's not defective.

Does it happen with all the outputs?
I had the problem only with the balanced main outputs.
