First completed song recorded with my new Kemper.

  • Status Quo cover: BACKWATER

Since I got my new KPA, I've been using it a lot to lay down tracks in quite a few original self-penned metal songs.

This tune, however, is the first I've completed using only my Kemper for the guitar parts. I've been jamming Quo and Judas Priest songs with my dear friend Sid for well over 30 years now, and we decided to record one of our favourites - Backwater (from the band's 1974 album "Quo"), to specifically showcase the awesome tones of The Amp Factory's excellent profiles of (Quo guitarist) Francis Rossi's Marshall JCM800 Rig.
