Searching for something else, I happened upon my old Behringer V-Amp2 FS112V footswitch. Will this baby suffice to simply move (up / down) through profiles? [ And quite honestly, I just don't wanna blow anything up. ]

Its a stereo momentary switch should work.

yes I thought the same but I didnt manage to do anything...so i've sold the whole V-Amp2 complete W/his FootSwitch.

Yes, it is, just tried it. You can connect it to the jacks for pedal 1 or 2 and then choose this connection to be a stereo-switch. Then you can assign different actions to the switches, not everything you want, but for example switching on and off A/B, X/MOD, rig up/down. (Would be great for a future update if you could assign the two functions completely apart from one another.)
