What's the expected behavior when loading a snapshot?
Does it replace the rig of the same name?
Do you have to save the loaded snapshot as a new rig in order to get it to stick around in the rig list?
I'm confused...

It just saves a complete new rig, if you have adjusted anything, cab, eq, etc etc... if you don't name it differently it will just save it with all the changes but the same name.. and it will be saved into the favourites
That sounds to me like the way the snapshot is saved.
I'm trying to understand what happens when I load a saved snapshot...
Don't try to understand it, or you'll miss all the fun
Well, yah... but...
If I recall a snapshot, it seems to take the place of an existing rig having the same name.
But if I change rigs and come back to the rig that shared the name with the snapshot, then the original (latest) rig seems to be active again...
So again: what's supposed to happen?
well try not to get too hot under the collar please....
find it in the instructions somewhere and then ask the manufacturer if you are not happy
I'm fine, thanks...
If you you don't know, you don't know...
I believe the snapshot is a way to store certain settings. You can then revert back to them later. If you want the snap to be recalled when you dial the preset, click save and overwrite the original.
Thanks, Will. I'll give that a try.

Of course, if you don't make a snap of the settings you overwrite, you lose them.
