Other commercial bass profiles can be requested to Armin (http://www.soundside.de)

There are plenty around and they are fantastic for live and studio use.

If you haven't already done so have a look at this thread regarding bass profiles.

Thanks a lot guys!!

A technical question: is the Kemper Power amp section suitable for driving a 8 Ohm bass cabinet? Does it goes down to the lowest frequency or is there any bass roll-off for guitar use?
-
Being Class D it should easily go down to the lowest bass octave as well as being almost load independent.
In other words it should be fine. -
I would like more opinions on this as well. I'll be getting a Kemper soon as a studio tool & have always run bass through my SansAmp RBI. How do the Kemper bass profiles compare to the SansAmp bass products?

The profiles sound exactly as a recorded bass amplifier, undistinguishable I'd dare say......

what Ampsound said. It's absolutely useable for recording.

Fantastic results for bass - the real deal.

Yes, used on two albums and a few quid demos for bands with great results.
