I just backed up my profiles to a USB stick.
Then on my Mac all I can see on USB stick is A file with date & extension 'kpabackup' that's 3.8mB in size but no separate profile files!
Can someone explain why there's no separate profile files & what is the kpabackup file?
Thanks

You can rename the file suffix to .tar
Then double click to decompress. Now you can see rigs, FX, etc. in a folder structure.
To restore the backup when you're done you need to compress THE CONTENT of the decompressed folder, not the folder itself.
Last but not least rename to .kpabackup again.
This one can be used to restore your profiler. -
Thank you. I don't know why the Kemper doesn't have a proper computer interface so you can drag & drop files in file manager.
The Kemper is very primitive in terms of file management which is surprising when you think how clever it is in other respects. Even budget Line 6 gear has a proper file management interface! -
Yeah, if you want to individually save profiles on the Stick you have to follow the exporting procedure, which is different from backing up. Takes much longer tho.
