Problem with FVCB1010 expression pedals, help?

I'm assuming no one is going to be able to help with this. Just another reason they really NEED to hurry up and get something official out.

The FCB1010's expression pedals are unreliable. Approx 30% of the time, putting the volume pedal down all the way does not activate the tuner, and when using the other pedal for pitch, the same issue, aka a lot of the time it'll register a note short. Pressing down on the pedal as hard as i can makes no difference, i have to move the pedal out of position and then back in to fix it.

Obviously I've tried multiple times calibrating the pedals, I've even calibrated them deliberately off, aka if heel down is "33", I've made it 35 to make sure.

I just got the 1010 last week. I had the same problem, as well as the volume pedal would go down to a point and then completely cut out, so there was no smooth drop off.

Kemper may need to address a linear midi volume pedal, but this is something I am just repeating, so I don't know this to be fact.

But a work around for me , I have a mission exp pedal for the kemper, which I just use as volume pedal attached directly to the kemper and works better than the 1010 and it seems the tuner comes on every time I I go to heel, as opposed to playing games with the1010

Didn't calibrating the pedal help at all?

Calibrating the heel position just shy of all the way down is best so there is extra travel pass a 0 point.

The optical sensor in the foot pedal seem's to drift out of calibration some time's, the extra play will help.

Same here, happens in heel and toe position. Have to calibrate with a little loss on travel on both positions to reach min and max values reliably.

also if the volume pedal range setting in the Kemper system menu is set to anything less then -5 the tuner will not work.

I'll have a look, but the tuner does work, just intermittently.

Is there any official support for things like this on the KPA? People like Muse are using these things live, i cannot believe they're having to put up with the same issues...

I ordered the EurekaPROM 2 opamp which I thougth was suppose to make this straight forward. have you thought about that at all?
