Has anyone A-B'ed them through a guitar cab?
I usually rehearse with a 100w Marshall JMP at 12 i clock... very loud, but I need it, cause we play really loud. I'm afraid the KPA amp will loose too much dynamics at those volumes. How does the KPA B&O amp compare to the 1000w Matrix 1u amp? Same amount of "hugeness" ?
I do play allot at home also, and the fan in the Matrix would maybe get annoying.

Matrix Amps are great products. They also offer different models (wattages), and are all (AFAIK) usable in stereo or bridged. You won't be wrong with either IMO.
I'd suggest you to start considering from the 1000 model, skipping the 800.
There are also 3-channel amps, well suited for WDW layouts.
Customer service is top notch as well.

I have both the powered kemper and the matrix 1000 fx. Both are great sounding amps. I really dug the hell out of the matrix prior to buying the powered KPA, but I like the internal B&O amp even better. Great sounding both thru frfr and guitar cabs (which is the way I use it now). And it's powerful enough to roll with a loud rock drummer on stage. I was afraid the powered KPA would sound inferior to the Matrix and that it would not be loud enough (1000 vs 600 w), but it more than kept up.
AND it's light weight, dead silent and does not produce heat. Dunno how they make it, because it really sounds heavy, hot & noisy

He probably is Malmsteen. He's just trying to blend in, but he can't help himself. For what it's worth, the powered KPA has been engineered into the Kemper to work best with the kemper.

Something tells me you're going to sell/return the Matrix... Not because of lack in quality, but rather redundance
Well, it would make for a killer wet/dry/wet rig Dry rig out through the KPA amp.. wet stereo through the two Matrix channels. It seems like a winning setup haha.
Try any of the matrix 3-channel amps then... Much cheaper
Have you tried a powered speakers like Atomic amplifiers, or QSC etc? This might give you a better feel and sound projection from your profiler rather than going the route of a traditional guitar set up...plus less stuff to carry.
Well, a poweramp (either external or retrofitted) is a versatile solution, it allows you to use both a guitar cab or passive FRFR cab. CLRs are excellent as well
