I'm having trouble figuring out how to get delay programmed on switch 9 on my fcb1010 -uno4kemper
I want it set for on/off. Checked the manuals, wiki, etc.... and I still can't get it to work.

Check the U4K website, theres a manual on there which explains how to do this

I tried that and I can't get delay saved to any stomps..... any ideas?
-
You can't do that. But you can still turn the delay on and off with a switch on the FCB1010.
-
Hold pedal 9 down till led blinks then push pedal 7 to set it for delay.

doesn't work. I think the uno4kemper chip is f##ked or something. when I turn the kemper on I don't get the "uno is connected" message any more.....I've spent days trying to get it to work and it won't.

Perhaps some basic trouble shooting...you are saying that KPA isn't recognizing the 1010...perhaps you connected to MIDI cables wrongly? MIDI in to MIDI out....MIDI out to MIDI in...or try different cables...

its recognising it as a "midi controller" not the uno controller. I've reseated the chip and tried different cables.

I guess it would have to be a faulty board or chip..have you tried putting the original EPROM chip back and program it manually? If it's the chip, that'd be an easy fix, if not, the problem would be in a different part of the board and perhaps getting a new 1010 would be necessary.

This sounds like you have the KPA set to the wrong midi channel? Is it set to omni?
