Do you think soon kempers could capture ir's only like a cab powered by power amplifiers to be used as a cab for real amps
Is it possible for kemper to capture ir's

Its possible by now - you can do both:
a) capture the speaker responce via the KPA - note the result will be stored into the cab and the amp (!) block.
b) use an existing IR and the free toolkit to convert it into a cab block filter. -
Does the Kemper need a power amp, or can you use the passive KPA to capture a cabinet?
Is the profiling loud enough when passive? Cause I noticed it's almost always TOO loud through an active amp.

No, you couldn't
The Profiler needs to send some line-level signals to the cab and hear its response back. In order for the cab to be able to emit the signals at a high-enough level for the mic to fully pick the rig's dynamics, the cab must be fed by a power amp: a preamp alone would not be powerful enough.Furthermore, you'd miss the characteristic of the coupling of the power amp's output transformer with the cone(s), which is the basis for building the cab's sound.
Note: as stated several times, there's nothing like "the real sound of a cab": each cab sounds differently when coupled with a different amp. So using an extremely linear amp would not serve the purpose of getting "a pure cab": it would return "a" cab, which each user could consider euphonic or not...

This can't be stressed enough!

LOL
Things and people go, Profiler and the wiKPA stay...
(this could be a part of the problem, actually )
