Hey every Mac owner like myself that's getting too impatient! I have the Codeweavers software CrossOver that enables you to install & run Windows software on a Mac. I've tried installing Rig Manager every way I can think of but can't get it to take. Has anyone else tried this by chance & got it running successfully?
Rig Manager on Mac via CrossOver?

not here.. just don't want to commit that much disk space to windows.. running my RM on a PC notebook.

Sorry, Parallels here. A little more expensive than Crossover, but Win 7 runs flawlessly here as well as RM.

That's the beauty of Crossover though, no windows installation necessary!

yeah but... since it's sort of a custom app... i.e. you've got porting involved and management of dll's and stuff and lots of tweaking, at least from the sound of it from reading about it... one might prefer the manufacturer to do the port or have code weavers do the port.. especially since the RM app will change over time and so will the supporting dll's... sounds like it'd just be a pain in the buttocks... so to speak.

This is what I want to do, but where do you get a downloadable Win 7 online? I tried a few sites and I'm having a hard time just finding a basic Windows 7 program to download. Thanks

This is the site of a German computer magazine. Down the page you find links to the downloads of the .iso's for different Win7 versions.
You the one you want. http://www.chip.de/artikel/Win…losem-ISO-2_46353200.html
Of course you have to purchase a key to activate it later.
