I am getting a boot and burn from USB error and then unable to mount error. I've tried restarting but no luck. Anyone have a fix? I've emailed support but thought I'd try here as well....

Just saw the post from Bimbim...didn't show when I did a search. Put the Bios in the root on a USB and it worked........fortunately..

Glad ya sorted it and up and running again. I had this happen about 3 hours before a gig I was scared but luckily Ingolf on here helped me out

I've had this happen too. I must admit it worries me as I use the kemper live as well. I now have a USB stick in my Kemper case with the OS in the root just in case. But surprised it happens and has not been fixed as it seems to be a known issue.

Yup, that's annoying, seems to be a more and more frequent bug

I always keep one of those micro-usbs inserted in the port. It just stays there, doing nothing

Yes, always carry a USB with you, with a kaos in the update folder and the root directory as well.

It was definitely a less than pleasant feeling as I was doing final setup before playing this morning. I was scrambling to find a backup solution and frustrated a little that it happened thinking the worst. Fortunately the worst was not what I anticipated and it was a quick fix.

I'm a little late to the party, but same thing happened to me yesterday (firmware 2.7.0.xxx). Scared the hell out of me. "What if I was using it live?"
So yeah, I guess we'll all be carrying usb-drives with us when using it live. Something I'm bound to forget someday.
Too bad there isn't a way to do a hard reset on the machine itself (like with a router or modem).
On the plus-side, the problem is easily fixed, provided you have a usb-stick with the proper fw in the root and not in the OS update as I had. -

What do you want to achieve with a "hard reset"?
