I think fuzzy octave sounds are possible through the profiler and I've heard some whooly Muff tones of Muffs being profiled that sounded great but I don't think that the profiler or any other device is close to the dynamics that you experience in rolling off the volume of a great traditional Fuzz Face circuit. It would require programming based around sensing impedence and how it effects the fuzz's circuit as a guitar's volume knob is turned. For now I still run my fuzz boxes before the profiler and I'm very happy this way.

which is, too be fair, a quite unique effect of the FF circuit. It's almost like a switch, not a continuous attenuation.

alright,
let's talk about fuzz.exactly which flavor/color of fuzz do you think is missing in the Profiler?
Please be aware that quite a lot of fuzzes out there are sadly nothing more than a slightly tweaked Fuzz Face circuit - nothing wrong with a Fuzz Face of course - but we already have a model of that in the Profiler.
Another quite popular fuzz is of course the Big Muff, which is also already covered. Please suggest a specific pedal or pedal family (Tonebenders, for example) and how it would expand the Profiler/bring something new to the table.
We're always open to suggestions that make the Profiler even more desireable.
Please kleep in mind that your suggestions should benefit a large number of people - a DIY pedal your buddy made, that everybody exept you and him hate obviously doesn't have much appeal.thanks!
Well he z.vex wolly mamooth has a really unique charace that differs strongly from the fuzz face and the big muff. This pedal is really a lot of fun, but also pretty expensive and I think if you'd model this device a lot of people would apreaciate it.
If someone's not familiar with its sound, here's a great demonstration and what this unique fuzz pedal does https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8gQIDTulCo

And If you modelise or profile a really lacerated guitare speaker,
It would be good too. -

You can do the same with the bit shaper.
True they are expensive, way too much expensive, almost a rip off... There are only a few dollars worth of components inside it: http://www.musikding.de/Mastadon-Fuzz-kit
