Feature Request: Rig Manager Cloud account

Fantastic idea!!

I think you can already do this with symbolic links. Check this article. Also, I recall seeing another forumite doing some cloud stuff. After a quick search... Here is AHChris's post.

Yes you can do this with something like google drive and the sym links as you mention - no need for Kemper to do anything to support this.

It would be nice if that worked "out oft the box"

I would like an option at installation that allows selecting the location of the database. This is would allow a network database location (even if only one computer could connect to it at a time, the a database would always be in synch between two or more computers )

Selecting the database storage directory would be great. Until that, the "link" workaround is a very good one and works for me perfectly under Win7.

I agree this is a fantastic idea. It would be easy to work into the program and have it set up with all the popular cloud backups like google amazon etc. symlinks aren't an out of the box solution for the less technical minded and it just makes sense to incorporate the two. This belongs in rig manager... Props to ahchris for that workaround solution. Perhaps someone can write a tutorial for windows users in the meantime.....
