Hi,
I am new to the forum and not yet a Kemper owner. My question is naive. I appologize for that. When using the Kemper as a practice amp at home, do we need an external speaker cabinet and a power amp? It is unclear to me after watching several demos of the amp whether or not a separate power amp and speaker cabinet is being used. What do we need to have the great sound I have witnessed in multiple videos?
Thanks,
Adam

Welcome! With the normal, unpowered Kemper you'd need powered speakers like studio monitors or powered monitors.

You could use headphones, too, which is a cheaper alternative.
Oh, and welcome to the forum

Anything amplified will do the trick, but the sonic results will vary.
You can start with the return of your amp and see if you like it.Or, you can buy a powered Profiler (which contains a power amp itself) and then use a passive cab, including traditional guitar cabs (again, TSRWV).

I quite often run mine through a cheap mixer into one of the ins on our old stacks hifi at home. It's far from flat, but it sounds incredible!
