Title says it all, I simply need to switch between two or three of my favourite rigs within a song.
Will a normal amp channel footswitch work for this? Do I have to go in performance mode?

Simpliest way to change rigs with a footswitch

Any momentary (non-latching) dual footswitch should work. The Boss FS-6 and FS-7 would work, or you can get one custom made from a variety of small pedal/switch makers. I do it in Browser mode, just make sure the rigs are next to each other, either by how their named or by using the favorites feature.

If you have a latching footswitch try it as well: mine works, you just have to push twice
