Hi all,
Can I record a dry mono track and monitor a wet signal at the same time without using SPDIF?
Hi all,

.
Sure-simply use the main outs for monitoring in stereo including all the effects and assign stack as the output source to either the monitor or the direct out to record a mono track in an analog fashion.
Brilliant, I just couldn't see how to do that, thanks! So used to miking a cab...
I only have two inputs (XLR or 1/4") on the Audiobox so I'll take a wet Left from the main out to monitor and dry Right stack from the direct out as my mono track. Finally it makes sense. Cheers!
make sure to select master mono as the output source for the main outs if you only use one cable there because otherwise you will loose one half of the stereo signal for rigs that use stereo effects like chorus, stereo widener, stereo delays and reverb.
I remembered to do that! Thanks again, this multiple output options & routing is a bit different than what I'm used to...!
I currently do this and it works well. using the balanced outs and the direct out at the same time. though I cant wait to try it using the spdif connection, just the opposite of you

I don't have any SPDIF in/outs on my ancient Audiobox USB! I'd definitely use SPDIF if I had it. I think a Focusrite is in my future....
