die Meldung bezog sich höchstwahrscheinlich auf einen gescheiterten Versuch die Uhrzeit im Profiler mit der in deinem Computer abzugleichen. Wenn es die Batterie wär würde die Nachricht nach jedem Neustart angezeigt werden.

Does the OS version factor into the backup/ restore function at all?
backups are always upward compatible but not necessarily down compatible. F.e. a Backup made with version 10 needs at least a Profiler with version 9.0.5 to restore.

the best way to do this is by using a USB stick. Only a USB stick backup will contain all of your data including rigs, presets, performances, and global settings.
If you use Rig Manager you can use drag and drop to transfer rigs, presets, and performances between the connected Profilers but none of the global settings. While rigs and presets can be transfered in bulk you will have to transfer each performance separately.

you can find a description in the Changelog file on the download page. The latest beta only contains a bug fix and one improvement but no new functions.

your picture links do not work.
The difference is that one delivers the full signal chain in stereo and the other one sums it to mono.

If there is no effect audible at the speaker output you need to check the output source setting for the monitor output that also feeds the speaker output. Make sure it is set to Master Mono. You can find these settings in the output menu of the Profiler or in the corresponding section of the Rig Manager app.

how are you monitoring the signal and what output source is assigned to the outputs that you use for monitoring?
Have you tried the headphone output already? That will always deliver the full signal chain including all effects.

MASTER VOLUME offers an LED collar, which reflects the volume of one output. You can select this output in System Settings with “Volume LED Collar”.

I had the impression that the OP had not yet purchased a Profiler but was asking for advice regarding a future purchase.

the signal at the XLR main outputs has always been hotter than the signal at the TS outputs. This has nothing to do with any updates.

Trying to automate my Kemper to play with backing tracks. I have the Kemper receiving automated program changes from Logic. Now I want to send a morph message.I use button morphing on the kemper remote (not an expression pedal), but like I said, I want it automated. I understand that morphing is CC11 but when I send a controller message from Logic it does nothing. Logic has a CONTROLLER parameter to select from but not a CONTINUOUS CONTROLLER parameter. I am using performance mode BTW. What am I missing?

Logic does not distinguish between controller and continuous controller. To automate morphing simply send control change #11 from the Logic MIDI track.

alternatively you might want to consider an unpowered Profiler and two Power Kabinets for a stereo setup.

as soon as the Remote is connected the MIDI info is no longer visible. You have to disconnect the Remote to see the MIDI info.

the last available version before 9.0.8 is 8.7.20 which you can find at the bottom of the page in the older software versions category.
If you used Rig Manager before you can find the last auto backup that RM created by searching for the serial number of your Profiler on your computer. You can open this backup in Rig Manager to access your rigs, presets and performances.

make sure to use the line inputs on your mixer and not the mic inputs.

I'm happy to share the spare part number that Kemper gave me as a replacement BUT I'm not sure if its the same for the rack as it is for the head. Therefore I strongly suggest you confirm with Kemper via support!
