What I've done ready for the remote when it is released is purchase a flight case which is the same size as the line6 FBV longboard. According to measurements the remote and two expression pedals will fit fine. I'd go this route. It will protect your pedals well and they won't need setting up every time. Which to me is the bonus. 
I've ordered a Diago Showman PB03 hardcase pedalboard. The inside dimensions are 750x350 mm, which should be enough for the Remote and two Yamaha fc-7 pedals.
