BLEND: Kruse DMoll & Fortin Marshall
The Diezel D'Moll, already a superior amp, was treated to the top mods offered by Jens Kruse of Kruse Kontrol Amplification. This included the "DeKompression MOD".. This Mod releases compression, opens up the amp and increases:
- Low + high frequency response
- Clarity
- Sonic pressure
- Pick attack
- Dynamic range
- Low volume playability
Channel 2: tighter response, more saturation, rounder + pushes more air
Channel 3: more saturated, articulate + rounder
A more detailed pack of this K-Moll will be offered in the near future. For today, I paired up the KMoll with e Fortin modded Marshall vm2466. The 2 amps compliment each other very well and the clarity of both amps is inspiring. In the room, the sound was glorious. Below is a clip that is quad tracked using a Peavey HP Special CT and Gutierrez Juggernaut, each equipped with Bare Knuckle Juggernaut pickups.
