Running as a stomp, even with all levels flat, it gives a bright and volume boost. Just wondering why?
Graphic EQ "pedal" brightens and adds boost (2.7.4)

Are you sure your volume on the EQ is 0.0? I've been fooled by that a few times.

Yep, lowered it to -1 to get it closer to unity

Do you perceive any difference when it's unengaged Vs. being absent from the slot?

It would surprise me If -1 dB with the EQ was unity.

Yes, that's why I asked. With -1.5 at 80hz and 150hz and with volume at 0.0 I not only get a volume boost but a treble boost. Not sure if the treble boost is just preception based on the negative bass response but it sure sounds like a treble boost to me. I was wondering why I couldn't get a pure clean tone with heavy strings and amp gain at 0.0 and this is the reason why. Because my graphic eq was giving me a boost. Now that I set the vol to -1 on the graphic eq I can get a pure clean sound again.

I tried it in firmware 3 and I'm not noticing the issue at all, hopefully it was a bug from 2.7 and has been fixed.
