So I just got a nice new top-of-the-line Macbook Pro and I can finally run RM without using Windows 7 via Parallels (hurrah!). I have but one problem : how do I get all the Rigs I've saved and sorted in my Local Library on the Windows version of RM over on to the Mac? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I think you only need to copy over the db.
-
If you have some folder structure in RM copy whole folder from :
C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Kemper Amps\RigManager\Local Library
But i don't know where to put this on MAC and where is the equivalent folder on MAC -
I tried copying the db, but it didn't work

But i don't know where to put this on MAC and where is the equivalent folder on MACI can't find the folder by following that path (maybe because I'm on a different version of Windows? I'm on Windows 7). After doing a search, I found the Local Library.db file, but as I wrote above, it didn't work on Mac (Mac version has a folder, not a single file). I'm stumped!!!

On the Mac you'll find the folder (after RM has been installed) in User-Library-application support- Kemper amps.
-
Yeah I found it and dropped the db file there, but RM OS X was as concerned as politicians are about their voters AFTER the election!

which means? Ignored the dB? -
Haha yeah, sorry! A bit cryptic, that one (it's a side-effect of the recent elections here in DK)

I'm also on win 7 - try to unhide system and hidden folders first
Try to find .repository.db and opet it's location on win -
Just tried an experiment; creating a new folder called "test" in RM on Mac creates a new folder here : /user/library/application support/kemper amps/rig manager/local library/test
Unlike on Windows 7, where it just updates the db file I'm assuming (there aren't any subfolders in the Rig Manager folder)

I'm not sure how to do that in Windoze anymore (it's been a while since I rocked XP)

No problem
Like i said
C:\Users\[your windows user name]\AppData\Local\Kemper Amps\RigManager\Local Library\
You must copy whole Local Library folder.
there are ".repository.db" files in the every sub-folder structure. -
I'm using my USB disk with Parallels/Windows 7 at the moment to copy my Omnisphere files and folders from the old computer to the new. It's taking forever! I'll check out the folder structure as soon as it's finished copying. Thanks again

OK, now I just need to figure out a way to get all the files on to the Mac from the windows folder. Just dragging them over doesn't seem to work. I'd zip the thing and stick it on Dropbox, but that doesn't seem to work either. Hmmm, I think sleep might help now...
-
via USB? just right click and copy whole "Local Library" folder onto the usb and paste it in
/user/library/application support/kemper amps/rig manager/ -
Problem is that there are files that the mac can't 'see', therefore they don't get copied over. Argh!

Put the flash back on windows - right click on the local library folder, properties, uncheck any hidden or system atribute and apply to all files and subfolders.
