Two amplification systems... How to use cabinets simulation on spdif and no cabinet simulation on the direct Outs at the same time ?

Hi,

I use the KAP with 2 PA RCF NX12 SMA + a matrix power amp and 2 guitar cabinets. Is there a way to send a preset without speaker simulation (to my Matrix power amp) and a the same preset with the KPA cabinets simulation. I another way, is it possible to use the direct outs "cut" physically the cabinets sims ?

Monitor cab off (in the output menu) is your friend.

Thanks, but it won't "cut" the cabs on the spdif out ?

As the name says "Monitor cab off" only deactivates the cab simulation for the monitor output.

And you'll have to use the "Monitor" out of course, not the Direct one for the Matrix

Yes but doing this I loose the stereo... So it will not work for me !

Yes, stereo monitoring will only work with FRFR solutions, not if you need a cab off.

Ah, now I see you intended to use Direct out as a side-stereo second output... But you'd be able to send Direct out and Monitor Out two sides of a stereo signal to begin with, which is not possible. So you'd have to bear with a mono signal anyway. It would be the same as sending the Matrix a mono signal and using it in order to feed two cabs.
