If are using a Morph Rig, you can press the switch to change the sound, and then press it again to return to the un-Morphed sound.

We are talking about switching between rigs, Morphing can't do it. Also, I might have set Morphing to do completely different things on that rig, so this option is actually great.
I had requested something similar in the past, there are times where you have to play a short and intense break (let's say 1/4 note) with a different sound and then go back to the original tone. I find this difficult depending on the part to be played, you have to remember where the main ring is and hope that you'll hit the right FW.

yes, this would also give a nice retro feeling with your/mine/everyones first amp with a mono footswitch for Clean/Dist.
