I have a 4 button midi controller. This does not mesh well with performance mode as there are currently 5 rigs per performance slot. So when I go to bank 2 on my controller button 1 selects rig 5 instead of rig1 on performance slot2. Is there an easy way to configure performance to have only 4 rigs?
Is it possible to configure the number of rigs per performance.

Does it do this also if there are only 4 rigs in performance slot 1?

I mean: if you only load up the first 4 slots in the performance? Leave the fifth slot unloaded? On my remote, I can't switch to the fifth slot when it hasn't got a rig assigned.

On your controller can you not define what patch it recalls? Set bank 2 button 1 to patch 6

If the MIDI PC numbers that are transmitted by your controller cannot be changed, you may prefer Browse Mode:
In Browse Mode, you can assign a MIDI PC number to each Rig.
