Harmonic Pitch effect sounds strange

    I'm curious as to why my harmony signal in the Harmonic Pitch effect (it's a diatonic 3rd up) sounds tinny and strange, regardless where I set the wet/dry balance...almost like there's a phasing issue. The effect is situated in the MOD slot, and the rig is a distorted Mesa metal tone.


    I'm pretty sure I never used to have this issue in earlier firmware versions. I'm using the most recent f/w.


    Anyone else noticed issues with the Harmonic Pitch?

    Are the "accessories" settings (formant, pure tone) flagged?


    Also, are you playing a very high-pitch part? If this is the case, you might find playing the higher part much more musical.
