but is it possible to record 2 Di tracks with it?
Thinking about regular double tracking...but reamp each track with 2 different amps for a quadtracklike Real 1 Amp 1 + Fake 1 Amp 2 left....Real 2 Amp 1 + Fake 2 Amp 2 right
would be nice option for technical bands were real quadtracking isn´t an option

I just received my mimiq doubler and did a quick test. Don´t like it with 2 or 3 dubs but with 1 dub it seems very usable. Indeed it causes some phasing which seems to get worse the tighter you set it. However at max "untightness" it is also unusable because... well it´s not tight enough :-). At setting beetween 12:00 and 3:00 it seems to do a good job. I would always prefer real double tracking in a recording situation, but if you are the only guitar player in your band this seems a great tool when playing live. In fact i would say it´s the best artificial double tracking i heard yet.
Here´s a quick demo... soundcloud compression is horrible as always but you will get an idea...

I agree, esp. the phasing and only 1 "Dubs"!
Meanwhile I use the Tightness at 12:00, so there is doubling but not that much phasing.
