I second that, it's much better for you inner musician to hit REC than to browse for more VST and gear
You don't need to buy any plugins to make great recordings. Just give yourself some experience using the stock plugins that come with any decent DAW- they work as well or better than the gear used to make legendary recordings.
NEVER wait to be able to afford expensive plugins to record. Record now.

Yes that is true and agree completely with this but some plugins give a vibe/colour you might be after. For example I use my Sonnox EQ when I want the EQ to be transparent but if I want a certain vibe I'll use the Waves SSL channel strip
