8 or 16ohm cab for live playing?

    I was wondering what speaker OHMs option would be best to spec in a 1 x12" guitar cab for use with the Kemper for live gigs at bars? 8ohms or 16ohms?
    Head room and volume are paramount as other guitarist and drummer both like to go to 11...Thank you

    You will likely not find a guitar speaker that can handle more than 300 watts (which is what the Kemper will deliver into 16 ohm), so 16 or 8 ohm wouldn't matter for headroom or volume. Concentrate on the speakers wattage and sensitivity for that :)
