Anyone here have a favorite EXDrummer 2 expansion pack for rock and/or a favorite for metal?
EZDrummer 2 EZX Expansion Packs

I have the EZX Rock from EZDrummer 1, and I really like the default snare and the super-neutral ride for that one. I even ended up using the ride for my studio recordings. The rest of the drums on my recordings were from the default kit that comes with EZD 2. After testing out all the other drums that come with it, I ended up liking the default kit the most.
EZX Rock is a little old, so concerning its age, it's a little expensive. You might consider the Big Rock Drums. Also, there is a video on each expansion page, showing how the drums were recorded.

The EZX Progressive pack is brilliant.
Rocks out with the best of them, but works great for other genres as well. -
I have those two and Nashville. Just grabbed Alt-Rock, yesterday but hadn't had a chance to try it out yet. I'm still not sure if I like the kick drums on Metal Machine, but I need to mess around with it some more.
@SivvieSiv is the Rock ezx you are referring to "Rock!"? I wasn't really sure which ones were newer or if the newer ones were better than the older ones. I'm mainly just trying to get some ideas the next time I see a sale.

Yeah, it's the Rock! one with the exclamation mark at the end
Actually, there is another one from EZD 1 which might be of interest to rock and metal musicians, the Rock Solid EZX, recorded by Randy Staub: https://www.toontrack.com/product/rock-solid-ezx/ -

Actually, there is another one from EZD 1 which might be of interest to rock and metal musicians, the Rock Solid EZX, recorded by Randy Staub: https://www.toontrack.com/product/rock-solid-ezx/Rock!, Metal!, and Progressive all sounded good in the demos on thewebsite. Those were probably at the top of my list. I need to go through some of the other rock and metal ones, though.
