SOLVED - Is there a batch function or similar to delete cabinet / cab profiles that are already in the Kemper?

Hi,
a search found no answer.
Months ago I thought it a good idea to upload hundreds of Ownhammer IRs I bought into the Kemper.

Lately I prefer using selected Celestion PLUS IRs when playing a DI profile.
I haven't found a way to get rid of the cab profiles in the Kemper. Would be cool if the Rig Manager allows this.
Any suggestions?

Just looked it up. There are 479 cabinet profiles loaded, ha ha.

Well, wouldn't it be possible to make a complete reset of the KPR, and then simply re-load my last backup from the rig manager?
Or does the backup from the rig manager include all the cabinets as well? Mmh, I guess I know the answer!

@shorerocks the backup restored from rig manager contains also cabinets. But there might be workaround, since backup is a zip file. Restore KPA to factory settings. Open/unzip your last backup file, delete the *.kipr files from Cabinets folder, zip it all again, giving the proper extension *.kpabackup. Then try to restore it. I think it may work you even don't need to reset the KPA. Just unzip backup file, delete unwanted cabs from /Cabinets folder, zip it again and restore it.

Sounds like a plan. Will try this later today, when the wife gives me my spare time.

Will let you know how it goes. Because... these too many cabinets are driving me crazy. Especially, since I am really into trying DI with different cabs.

As of now it didn't work.
I did not reset the KPR, though.
Editing the USB (!) backup file was easy enough, re-zipping it, re-naming it.
The KPR can see the file and offers a restore.
When pressing restore it goes back to the previous screen asking for a decision to backup or restore.
Pressing restore... see above.

It might be that me using 7zip is the cause. It might be me not having restored the KPR was the reason. Any way, I might just do the latter and try again.

Ok, I know now how it works.
1. Make an USB backup.
2. On a PC, unzip it (I used 7zip).
3. Then edit the files in the unzipped folders, i.e. I deleted a few hundred cabinets
IMPORTANT
4. Re-zip allf files and folders as a .tar (!) file
5. Rename the .tar file into a .kpabackup file

Put it on your USB and restore your KPR. It will start anew, and all is well.
